The conference brings together students, educators, researchers, librarians, professionals, and humanities scholars to share their work and explore new directions in geospatial research and practice.

Frank Donnelly, Head of GIS and Data Services at Brown University Library, will share the urgent effort to save government GIS data disappearing from the Internet. Frank will take us inside the Data Rescue Project’s race to preserve more than 400 key HIFLD layers through a coordinated volunteer push that protects a vital national resource.
