The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), as part of its ongoing Every Day Counts Round 5 (EDC-5) initiative, along with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) and the Oklahoma State University Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) are offering a two-day interactive workshop on Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). The workshop is free of charge but requires online advance registration.

Attendees will hear from subject matter experts on:

1. Starting up a UAS program (national and local agency perspectives)

2. Implementing UAS technology in support of key transportation applications

  • Design and construction
  • Structural Inspection
  • Emergency response/traffic management
3. Technology and UAS use case examples

Workshop attendees are eligible to receive professional development credits for participation. Participants will have an opportunity to engage with presenters during question and answer (Q & A) sessions.

Who Should Attend - This strategic and timely workshop will benefit county commissioners, emergency management personnel, city and tribal staff, and field personnel such as maintenance, construction, consultants and contractors.
