RAISE Grants are one of the many discretionary grant programs in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL). This program is open to counties, municipalities, tribal governments, and MPO's. RAISE Grants are safety and economic development-focused. They could include pedestrian projects. The Omaha Tribe and the City of Omaha received RAISE Grants in 2023.
The office administering the grant is offering a webinar series to learn more about the opportunity and prepare an application. Webinars are recorded and posted for viewing later. Recordings and future dates are available at https://www.transportation.gov/RAISEgrants/outreach.
