I wanted to thank everyone for the great turnout we had for the Winter Road Maintenance and Snow Operations virtual training session earlier this month. Great discussion and good feedback always make a successful training, so thanks for that. It seems to me that everyone is getting more accustomed to the virtual training environment. I know it is getting easier for me. LTAP’s plan is to offer more distance learning and virtual networking opportunities over the next year. There are so many advantages to delivering training in this way, including travel time, cost and convenience. I hope that works for everyone. I think another key to the success of that event was the right topic at the right time. That is a struggle for us sometimes. If we can do better in picking topics and in the timing of our training, the LTAP program gets better. So, I ask for your help in identifying topics that would be relevant to you. Also, when would be a good time to train that topic. If you have any ideas, please reach out to me. Remember, LTAP is here for you. We want to help you out with training and technical assistance in the best way possible. Happy Thanksgiving from LTAP!
