The NDOT Bridge Office and NE LTAP are hosting an FHWA-sponsored training on the new bridge inspection protocol that Nebraska will implement in 2025. This is more than just a preview – it is a critical opportunity to equip yourself with the knowledge necessary to stay ahead on bridge inspection standards. This class will cover the new coding requirements for bridge inspection under the Specifications for the National Bridge Inventory (SNBI), which will replace the current inspection protocol. Nebraska plans to adopt this method in February 2025. While inspector re-certification is not required, training will be essential to ensure compliance.
Please see the attached agenda for further details.
