The national Bridge Preservation Local Agency Outreach Working Group is offering a free 1-hour online Bridge Maintenance training on January 29 at 11:00 AM Central/10:00 AM Mountain. Pre-register to participate.
The Bridge Preservation Partnership Local Agency program is pleased to announce a Training Opportunity on
an Introduction to Bridge Maintenance. The 60-minute training is specifically designed to teach the basics of
bridge maintenance and repair and is geared towards meeting the needs of local agencies.
The training will explain why bridge maintenance is so important and run through common maintenance
activities. A variety of examples have been developed to help participants understand the importance of
incorporating these bridge preservation activities into their work plan.
This virtual training is being offered free of charge. Participants will gain a general understanding of why
maintenance is important, how to identify good candidates for work, what activities are available and an idea
of degree of difficulty with performing the work.
