Math Student Accomplishments Part 1
We ask you to respond to a short survey about your fall semester experiences, and here is some of what your fellow Math majors had to say.
What is something that you have learnt or accomplished during the Fall 2020 semester that you are proud of or excited by?
"My partial differential equations and biophysical chemistry courses had many relations throughout the semester. I am excited that I am able to relate the things I learned in my science courses to my math courses."
-Allison Cruikshank
"This fall 2020 semester I began analytical investigations of partial differential equations (PDEs)! This was a huge milestone as PDEs excite me and is a field I hope to further study in graduate school."
-Diego Galvan
"I ended MATH 325 with an A (I was expecting a low B)!"
-Anonymous
"I got a 4.0 this semester!"

-Sonya Wu
"After being out of school for a good 16 years. I am glad of being able to learn the system in time to avoid embarrassment. I was a good student back then I am proud to say that I am still good. Thanks for the help and attention I was granted. Looking forward to next semester's challenge..."

-Allison Cruikshank
"I became a math tutor for Math Motivators and got to help 5th and 6th graders get back on top of their math skills."
-Maggie Scott
"After my astronomy class, I felt like we are tiny in the universe. I should enjoy any moment on this beautiful world."
-Sonya Wu
"Becoming familiar with zoom was something that made me a stronger and kinder person. As for my own classes, finding efficient ways to study and absorb information through a computer screen was something I struggled with midway through last spring. As a teaching assistant, using zoom for recitation helped me realize how difficult and unique this semester was, and further pushed me to focus on producing a positive experience for my recitation section."
-Diego Galvan
