Applications due Apr. 11 for Ngaruiya Family Fund for Undergraduate Research

The International Student and Scholar Office is pleased to announce a scholarship opportunity for students with international backgrounds.

The Ngaruiya (pronounced Gar-ee-ya) Family Fund for Undergraduate Research is open to any undergraduate students with an international background who has demonstrated interest in research in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) field.

This scholarship is a one-time award to one recipient. Applications are due by April 11, 2022.

To apply, students must submit the following:
- Biographical information.
- A personal statement.
- 3 letters of recommendation: one from a mentor and two from non-family members.
- Identification of a faculty member who is willing to involve the applicant in their research in an impactful way.
- A defined research project, including a research project plan
