Math Motivators Tutoring Opportunities
Math Motivators is an organization run by The Actuarial Foundation that provides volunteer Math tutoring to K-12 students. Math Motivators is current looking for volunteers to help Lincoln area students for the Spring 2023 semester.
Here is a list of programs currently in need of tutors:
• In-school at Lincoln High: Working with Algebra 1 and/or Geometry students during any class period in the LHS school day (7 am-3 pm) which fits in your schedule on any weekday, located at 2229 J St, Lincoln, NE.
• After-school at Lincoln High: 3:15-5:15 pm on any weekday at 2229 J St, Lincoln, NE, working with grades 9-12.
• After-school at Dawes Middle School: 3:30-4:30 pm on Fridays at 5130 Colfax Ave, Lincoln, NE 68504, working with grades 6-8.
• After-school at Goodrich Middle School: 3:30-4:30 pm on Mondays or Wednesdays 4600 Lewis Ave, Lincoln, NE 68521, working with grades 6-8.
• ACT Prep tutoring at the Malone Center: Thursdays 7-8 pm at 2032 U St, Lincoln, NE helping LPS high school students prepare for the ACT Math subject test.
• Grades 3-6 Math tutoring at the Malone Center: Mondays from 4-5 pm at 2032 U St, Lincoln, NE working with grades 3-6.
• After-school at Saratoga Elementary School: 3-4 pm on Thursdays working with grades 4 & 5 at 2215 S 13th St, Lincoln, NE.
