Thursday, November 23rd to Sunday, November 26th - Thanksgiving Vacation (UNL offices closed)
Monday, December 4th to Saturday, December 9th - Last week of classes
Monday, December 11th to Friday, December 15th - Fall Semester Final Exams
Friday, December 15th - Fall Semester Graduate Commencement and Doctoral Hooding Ceremony
Saturday, December 16th - Fall Semester Undergraduate Commencement
Friday, December 22nd to Monday, January 1st - Holiday Closedown (UNL offices closed)
Tuesday, January 2nd - Spring 2024 Pre-Session begins & First day UNL offices are open in 2024
Wednesday, January 3rd - Last day for late registrations and adds (Pre-Session) & Last day to drop a class and receive a full refund (Pre-Session)
Friday, January 5th - Last day to drop a class and receive a partial refund (Pre-Session) & Last day to file a drop to remove course from student's record (Pre-Session)
Saturday, January 6th to Wednesday, January 17th - All course withdrawals noted with a grade of "W" on academic record (Pre-Session)
Wednesday, January 10th - Last day to change a course registration to or from "Pass/No Pass" (Pre-Session)
Monday, January 15th - Martin Luther King Day (Student and Staff Holiday-UNL offices closed)
Wednesday, January 17th - Last day to withdraw from one or more courses (Pre-Session)
Friday, January 19th - Classes end and final examinations (Pre-Session)
Monday, January 22nd - Spring 2024 Regular Academic Session begins & Late Registration begins ($100.00 late registration fee assessed)
Friday, January 26th - Final day to apply for a degree in May ($25.00 fee due with application)
Monday, January 29th - Last day for full semester course registrations (Census Date) & Last day to drop a full semester course and receive 100% refund
Friday, February 2nd - Last day to file a drop to remove a full semester course from student's record & Last day to drop a full semester course and receive 75% refund
Saturday, February 3rd to Friday, April 19th - All course withdrawals noted with a grade of "W" on academic record
Friday, February 9th - Last day to withdraw from a full semester course and receive 50% refund
Friday, February 16th - Last day to withdraw from a full semester course and receive 25% refund
Monday, March 4th to Monday, May 19th - Open Registration for Summer Sessions 2024
Saturday, March 9th to Sunday, March 17th - Spring Vacation (UNL offices are open Monday through Friday)
Friday, March 22nd - Last day to change a full semester course registration to or from "Pass/No Pass"
Monday, March 25th to Tuesday, April 9th - Priority Registration for Fall Semester 2024
Wednesday, April 10th - Open Registration begins for Fall Semester 2024
Friday, April 19th - Last day to withdraw from one or more full semester courses for the term
