The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH) Mathematics Graduate Program is currently accepting applications for the Fall 2024 term. The application deadline for students who wish to be considered for departmental assistantships and fellowships is December 12, 2023.

UNC-Chapel Hill, the flagship of the University of North Carolina system, is considered a Public Ivy, with approximately 20,000 undergraduate and 12,000 graduate students. The Department of Mathematics has roughly 30 tenured or tenure-track faculty members and 10 postdoctoral faculty members.
