Registration Open for EnergyTech University Prize Business Plan Competition

The EnergyTech University Prize (EnergyTech UP) from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Technology Transitions is back for its third year!

This innovative prize, part of the American-Made program, challenges multidisciplinary student teams to identify a high-potential energy technology, assess its marketability, and pitch their strategies for commercialization—and compete for a share of more than $400,000!

The competition offers students the opportunity to build their leadership and entrepreneurial skills while providing exposure to all of the innovative energy technologies out there waiting to be commercialized.

Students and faculty who are interested in being a part of this exciting, skills-building competition as an addition to their school year are encouraged to attend an upcoming informational webinar to learn more. Participants will hear details about available cash prizes and industry resources; learn how to find the cutting-edge energy technologies they can build their business plans around; and get their submission questions answered.
