Math Club: Undergraduate Research Experience by Noah Sorensen
When: Thursday, November 7th at 5 pm
Where: 351 Avery Hall
Title: Undergraduate Research Experience
Presenter: Noah Sorensen, current undergraduate student
Details: What does undergraduate math research look like? When I was a first year student, I imagined math research to look like solving equations and not much more. Three years later, and multiple research experiences later, I can confidently say I have an idea of what math research is. My current projects include the NEMO Lab and a thesis. I will provide an overview of what these projects entail and what I have learned from my time working on them.
Pizza and Pop will be served!
