The College of Arts and Sciences has two awesome Career Coaches in the Academic and Career Advising Center in 107 Oldfather Hall. Career Coaches can help you find jobs on campus, explore majors and career options, develop your resume, and more! Kristen Aldrich and Meagan Savage are available for both appointments and, new this fall, walk-in meetings. Either Kristen or Meagan will be available for walk-in meetings everyday from 10 am to 12 noon in 107 Oldfather Hall. These walk-in meetings will be in 20-minutes blocks that you can sign up for at the front desk of the Advising Center in 107 Oldfather Hall. As always, you can schedule an appointment with Meagan or Kristen by using MyPlan or visiting the front desk of the Advising Center in 107 Oldfather Hall.
The Fall 2018 Career Fairs will be on September 25, 26, and 27, which will be here before you know it. Now is a great time to talk to Kristen or Meagan about resumes and cover letters, going to the career fair, and your after graduation goals.

HANDSHAKE CHALLENGE WEEK
August 27th and 28th join Career Services for Handshake Challenge Week at the Unions on both City and East Campus (times below) for getting signed into Handshake, Nebraska’s new on-line job search system. Handshake is the place for Nebraska students to search and apply for internships, co-ops, part-time and full-time jobs. There will be FREE snacks, yard games, music, and chances to win awesome prizes like Visa and Target gift cards, a Yeti cooler, and a secret grand prize for completing all 5 challenges.
City Campus: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
