CASSAB Applications are now open!

The College of Arts and Sciences Student Advisory Board (CASSAB) is a great way for students to get involved and be a voice for students within the college as well as serve on important college committees such as Academic Distinction, Awards and Appeals committee, Curriculum and Advising committee, and the Grading Option, Appeals, and Late Withdrawals committee.

CASSAB is a liaison between students and the college’s deans, faculty and staff, representing student interests on college curriculum and appeal committees. They:

- develop professionalism and leadership among its membership,

- represent the college in partnerships with other departments and offices on campus, and

- execute and participate in outreach initiatives in collaboration with the Academic and Career Advising Center.

CAS Week

CASSAB also hosts CAS Week, a spring event where students, faculty and staff celebrate being a part of the humanities and social, natural and mathematical sciences.

Funding

Funds are provided by the College of Arts and Sciences through CASSAB to financially support Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) that make an impact on students of the college by contributing to the rich and multifaceted student life experience through experiential opportunities and academic engagement.

The CASSAB Application can be found here. Applications are due by the end of the day on Friday, April 12th, and they can be turned into cassab@unl.edu.
