Naval Research Laboratory Marine Meteorology Division Internship Program
The U.S. Naval Research Laboratory Marine Meteorology Division (NRL MMD) in Monterey, CA would like to advertise the Naval Research Enterprise Internship Program (NREIP) for Summer 2021 (https://nreip.asee.org/). This 10 week program is open to both undergraduates (who currently have 31 or more college credits and are enrolled at a 4 year U.S. college or university) and graduate students. Additional information, including the stipend and eligibility requirements, is included in the NREIP brochure located here. Also attached is a brochure with more details about NRL MMD. The deadline to apply is November 30th, 2020. Applications are limited to U.S. citizens.
Due to the ongoing pandemic of COVID-19, we cannot guarantee that the summer 2021 program will take place in-person. However, the summer 2020 program hosted 15 students virtually and was a great success with students regularly meeting with advisors through video teleconferencing. We are currently planning next summer as an in-person program, but students should be aware that the program may be shifted to a virtual program at any time between now and summer 2021.
