Welcome back everyone! My name is Brandi Sigmon and I’m the Academic Success Coordinator for the Microbiology Program. I wanted to let you all know we have a couple exciting new experiential learning opportunities this fall that will be open to all Microbiology majors. This semester the Microbiology Program will be starting a new MARVEL (Microbiology Achievement through Research and Valuable Experiential Learning) workshop and research symposium to help enhance equity and inclusion in experiential learning opportunities within the major. The new workshop will be held on Friday, October 22nd from 3-5pm and the research symposium will be on November 12th from 3-5pm. More details on both of these events will be coming soon via email, but be sure to save the dates on your calendar!
