The UNL Microbiology Program is pleased to share that we will cover the cost of student registration and attendance at the Missouri Valley Branch American Society for Microbiology (MVB ASM) Meeting here on the UNL campus March 13 and 14 for eligible undergraduate students. These registration funds are generously provided by donors to the UNL Microbiology Excellence Fund, whose support helps expand academic and professional development opportunities for our students.
This is a great opportunity to network and meet other microbiologist in our region which includes universities in Kansas and Oklahoma. If you want to present, abstracts are due on February 1, but you can simply just attend to attend networking sessions.
Eligibility: Any student currently enrolled as a microbiology major at UNL is eligible for this support.
Procedure: To request coverage of your student registration fee, please complete the following step: Email microbiology@unl.edu by February 22 to indicate your interest in attending the MVB ASM Meeting and having your registration covered.

We strongly encourage eligible students to take advantage of this opportunity to engage with the broader microbiology community, present research, and network with professionals and peers.
