Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the BIOS 101L General Biology Laboratory and BIOS 110L Human Biology Laboratory lab sections, courses taken by non-majors to meet the ACE 4 student learning outcome, as well as pre-nursing and pre-dental hygiene students. Position will assist the Course Instructor with the supervision of the Preparation Staff and Teaching Assistants, and preparation and teaching of the laboratories. Responsible for equipment maintenance, ordering of supplies for the laboratories, compliance with safety requirements. Assists the Course Instructor with training and weekly meetings with Teaching Assistants, and the development of new curriculum.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related field plus one year experience teaching, working in course laboratories, or working in research labs required; equivalent education/experience considered. Must be able to work efficiently with computers and scientific equipment.
