As a senior, you may want to consider enrolling in the GRF prep course taught by Diana Pilson. Students would include undergraduates in their final year who are planning on applying to graduate programs in the coming year and first year graduate students who have not yet applied as a graduate student.
For undergraduates the course is CASC 191, Sec. 601, and it is a 0-credit course so it doesn’t cost undergraduates anything.
For graduate students it is BIOS 915, Sec. 001, and it is a 1-credit course.
The seminar meets from 4:30 – 6:00 pm on Wednesday in Brace 105 for eight weeks.
Dr. Pilson will share her knowledge on how to have a competitive application, but the skills they’ll learn are widely applicable and is great professional development.
