Join us Wednesday, September 17 from 1–5 p.m. CDT for the No Coast SciComm Fun and Games Symposium! This exciting event builds on the 2024 conference panel of the same name and focuses on using games for science communication—from tabletop and video games to VR and live-action roleplay.
Anyone interested in attending just needs to register on the website. https://scimath.unl.edu/conferences-and-events/no-coast-scicomm/
The confirmation email will give you a link to the online program and Zoom links.
In addition to the symposium, a game night will follow the symposium to play science-based games in CPEH 213.
Designed for science communicators, educators, and game enthusiasts alike, the symposium will feature an engaging lineup of virtual talks and interactive workshops exploring how games can help non-experts connect with scientific content and ways of thinking.
Cap off the day with an in-person evening game night on campus for pre-service and in-service teachers—an opportunity to experience science storytelling through play!
