What Is Agar Art? Have you ever seen art "painted" in a petri dish using living, growing microorganisms? That's agar art! Anyone who takes the required biosafety training course TODAY (see below) can join! Tuesday, March 31st from 6 - 7pm in Rm 121.1 in the Beadle Center. Sponsored by MBIO Club.
If you're interested in participating in the Agar Art event, you are required to attend Biosafety Training on Tuesday, March 10th from 6 to 7pm in N263 Beadle Center.
The Missouri Valley Branch ASM Meeting is this Friday & Saturday, March 13th and 14th. Register to you would like to attend this event that includes poster presentations Fri & Sat, oral presentations Sat. Meals included in the registration fees. See ASM Distinguished Lecturer Dr Shaun Brinsmade of Georgetown University on Sat. Mix with others in the microbiology community from UNL as well as those within MVB ASM Branch.
