The College of Arts and Sciences has selected an SBS alum, Dr. Russette Lyons, to be honored as part of their Alumni Masters program. Dr. Lyons will be hosted by CAS on campus on the 9th & 10th of April to be honored and to participate in various activities.
Dr. Lyons earned her PhD in 1985 and spent her career in the biopharmaceutical industry. Where, in addition to drug discovery, she worked to create opportunities to develop the next generation of scientific leaders through innovative training programs. She's eager to connect with undergraduates to discuss career opportunities.
This is an excellent opportunity for undergraduate students (BIOS 100, STEM POWER, MBIO, UGTAs, etc) to meet with Dr. Lyons on April 10th at 9:30 AM in 402A Manter Hall and share breakfast!
