Food Science & Technology Research Symposium

Please mark your calendars for the annual Food Science and Technology Research Symposium, taking place from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

This symposium is a great opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students, post-docs, and junior investigators to connect with peers, share their work, and receive valuable feedback from the professional community. Attendees will also have the chance to explore the interdisciplinary nature of food science and technology while celebrating the inclusivity and diversity that strengthen our field.

The day will feature a variety of engaging formats, including student poster presentations, short oral conference presentations, a workshop, lightning (flash) talks, videos, TED-Tech talks, and entrepreneurship elevator pitches—there’s truly something for everyone.
