Virtual Conversation with a Conservation Officer

• Join us on the third Wednesday of each month as we highlight 12 different careers within the Game and Parks realm. These live interviews will be conducted via ZOOM and each month we will focus on a different career within Nebraska Game and Parks.

Leadership Opportunity – Pre-Health Club
• UNL’s Pre-Health Club is looking for a Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary to fulfill their roles for the Fall 2021-Spring 2022 Academic Year.
• All pre-health students are eligible to apply. The mission of the UNL Pre-Health Club (PHC) is to provide students the ability to explore health professional careers, challenge students on their understanding of medicine and why they are interested, create strong leaders in the Pre-Health community, and develop networks between fellow students and established health professionals in the Lincoln community.
• We aim to go beyond just meetings and create valuable experiences for our members, whether that be volunteer experiences or shadowing experiences. An executive board member for our organization should be able to devote a minimum of 4 hours per week to this organization. This includes communication between executive board members, brainstorming club plans, scheduling and attending events, leading meetings, etc..

Law School Financial Advice by AccessLex
MAX Pre-Law Coaching is offering free financial advising regarding paying for law school and the application process. Their financial coaches can help you set financial goals, create a law school budget, manage credit, and determine insurance needs as you look toward attending law school. They offer free 30 minute appointments that you can sign up for here.
This service is offered by AccessLex, a trusted non-profit organization that offers many pre-law related resources available on their website. We specifically recommend the MAX Pre-Law resources and the XploreJD tool as you research law school.

Summer Pre-Law Seminar – CLEO
The Council on Legal Education Opportunity is offering a two-day virtual pre-law seminar this summer. Topics covered will include: selecting a law school, writing an effective personal statement, choosing sources for letters of recommendation, preparing for the LSAT, and financial planning.
