This year, we are excited to host the annual MTEP Conference, including the MTEP & ESTEEM Pre-Conference to the 2026 Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators (AMTE) Conference. Co-hosted by ESTEEM: Enhancing Statistics and Data Science Teacher Education with E-Modules, the pre-conference will bring together experts from both statistics and data science and teacher preparation program transformation. A variety of session formats address topics such as teacher preparation in statistics and data science, critical statistics literacy, expanding NIC team networks, and mathematics teacher recruitment and retention. The MTEP Conference program includes the pre-conference hybrid sessions on Wednesday, Feb. 4, and concludes with a networking breakfast on Saturday, Feb. 7.
