All events, beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2021, will be online by accessing Zoom links for each event. The day’s activities will feature masterclasses and sessions with Glenn Korff School of Music Professors Dr. William McMullen, oboe, Dr. Nathan Koch, bassoon, and guest artists Jeanine Krause, (Baroque oboist in Germany, founder of KREEDO Academy and the JK Reed Making Online Training seminars) and Alexander Golde (Baroque bassoonist in Germany, member of the Hanoverian Court Orchestra that specializes in Baroque performances).
* Faculty and guest artist recital
* Masterclass with UNL Faculty and guest artists for junior high and high school students
* Period instrument lectures of the Baroque oboe (hautbois) and Baroque bassoon
* Showcase Sampler recital of UNL oboe and bassoon students
* Panel discussion with college students - “Life at the UNL Glenn Korff School of Music”
* Reed making session - demonstrations of adjustments to reeds.
