Grad and Undergrad Jazz Combos take over Westbrook Recital Hall

The Graduate and Undergraduate Jazz Combos will be performing during the first few days of November in the Westbrook Recital Hall in the Glenn Korff School of Music.

The Graduate Combos will feature some original works from members of both groups at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 6. In addition to the originals compositions, they have also arranged a collection of jazz standards that demonstrates the diversity and creativity of the talented students. The performance will also be live Webcast. Visit music.unl.edu for the direct link the night of the performance. It’s also free and open to the public.

All three undergraduate jazz combos will perform on Wednesday, November 9 at 7:30 p.m. Coached by Dr. Greg Simon and Andrew Janak, the groups will play a mix of new original music and jazz standards such as Sugar by Stanley Turrentine and Moanin’ by Bobby Simmons. This performance is free and open to the public.
