The Glenn Korff School of Music at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is pleased to announce the winners of the recent Solo Competition that took place over two nights in Westbrook Recital Hall.
The Graduate winners include Dimitra Kokkinopoulou, piano and Jennifer Reeves, clarinet with honorable mentions including Jennifer Son, cello and Ayaka Kondo, piano.
The Undergraduate winners include J.T. McLaughlin, euphonium and Alyssa Vrable, soprano with honorable mentions including Kate Johnson, soprano; Jonathan Vusich, piano and William White, alto trombone.
The guest judges for the competition included Dr. Martín Cuéllar, Emporia State University; Dr. David Stuart, Iowa State University and Dr. Brian A. West, Texas Christian University.
