The University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Symphonic Band, featuring guest artist Diane Barger on clarinet, will perform at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, December 7 in Kimball Recital Hall.
Admission to the “Cult of Personality” recital is $3 for students and senior citizens, and $5 general admission. The performance will also be available via webcast. Visit music.unl.edu the night of the performance for the direct link.
The program will feature a wide array of composers, including Malcolm Arnold, John Williams, Malcolm Binney and Jere Hutcheson.
Barger is a professor of clarinet in Nebraska’s Glenn Korff School of Music. The Symphonic Band is conducted by Tony Falcone.
