The University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Symphony Orchestra will perform with Brenda Wristen at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 8 in Kimball Recital Hall.

Tickets to the “Grieg and More” recital, available at the door, are $5 general admission and $3 for students and senior citizens.

Wristen, an associate professor of music, will be featured on piano with the symphony. The repertoire will include “L’Arlésienne (Suites 1 and 2)” by Georges Bizet, Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 16 by Edvard Grieg, and “Danzón No. 2” by Arturo Márquez.

The symphony is directed by Tyler White. The orchestra includes students from across the university. The group is one of the Glenn Korff School of Music’s most active performing ensembles.
