Encourage Poster Presentations for UNL 2024 Student Research Days

Faculty Researchers who have/had NCESR funding, please encourage all graduate and undergraduate student researchers on your project(s) to present a poster. The poster sessions are on March 26 (engineering and physical sciences) and March 27 (social sciences, arts and humanities, life sciences, business, and education). It allows students to showcase their research or creative work, communicate their results and learn about other research and creative activities. The deadline to register is March 2, 2024.

If you have a student(s) who plan to present a poster regarding research on an Energy Center-funded project, please email both Sue Wesely at swesely4@unl.edu and Brenda Coufal at brenda.coufal@unl.edu the following information:
1. student’s name,
2. indicate if they are an undergraduate or graduate student,
3. student’s email, and
4. poster title

We will give each student related to an NCESR project a certificate and ask them to take a picture with our NCESR Director, Associate Director, NPPD Liaison(s) and sponsoring faculty if available.

If the poster is related to an Energy Center-funded project, please ask the student when completing the registration form to answer the question “Is there additional information we should know about your presentation?” – Poster is related to an NCESR Project. It will help the organizers to assign locations for the posters at the poster sessions.

Students registered in the competition category and whose posters are deemed outstanding by faculty judges will receive a monetary award.
