UNL Entomology announced on Facebook that Doug Golick, PhD, associate professor of entomology and Center for Science, Mathematics and Computer Education faculty, has been approved by the Nebraska Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources Vice Chancellor and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Chancellor for promotion from associate professor to professor.
Golick's research and teaching interests include using insects as models for engaging students and teachers in science, using insect systems and conservation to improve science literacy, using arthropods to teach systems thinking, pollinator education and conservation programming, citizen science programming, and survey development.
