Lisa Bohaty of East Butler Public Schools will serve as this year's Nebraska Educational Technology Association (NETA) President.
Bohaty is a K-12 computer science teacher, K-12 tech integrationist, and former participant in CSForAll: Adapt, Implement, and Research at Nebraska (AIR@NE). She will take on the role of NETA President after having served as a board officer for serveral years.
"I am excited to be serving on the [NETA] Board for my 6th year," said Bohaty in her NETA biography.
Expanding computer science education is reflected in Bohaty's work with the Computer Science Teachers Association. As the incoming chair for the 2024 Computer Science Teachers Association conference, she is actively involved in planning and organizing a premier event that brings together educators, thought leaders, and industry professionals to explore the latest trends and innovations in computer science education.
