The Nebraska Math and Science Summer Institutes (NMSSI) course catalog is now posted online. This summer we are offering 14 courses designed with K-12 math and science teachers in mind, using either an asynchronous online format ("on demand" style), a synchronous web conferencing format ("live" on Zoom), or in person. Open registration for UNL Summer Sessions begins on March 3.

The goal of NMSSI is to offer teachers of math and science intellectually rich graduate coursework that will enhance their ability to offer their students challenging courses and curricula. NMSSI courses are designed with teachers' schedules in mind.

To make the NMSSI professional development opportunities more affordable, we have asked the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to offer tuition discounts to Nebraska teachers who take our summer courses. Nebraska teachers qualify for a tuition fellowship of 20 percent off resident tuition for many of these graduate courses.

Teachers may also apply for additional fellowships to help cover the remaining tuition costs. Fellowships are available through NMSSI to eligible Nebraska teachers while funds are available.
