Join the excitement of Nebraska Science Olympiad!
FREE Science Olympiad Membership for the first 10 NEW coaches with NEW teams! $150 value!
Science Olympiad is the nation’s premier team-based STEM competition, where students put their knowledge of science, math, engineering, robotics, and computer science to the test through hands-on, inquiry-driven events. Throughout the year, participants train to strengthen their problem-solving skills and build teamwork. In the process, they can develop their lifelong passion for discovery.
Last year, the the University of Nebraska Omaha STEM TRAIL Center became the new home of the Nebraska Science Olympiad (NESO) and is now launching the state’s 38th Olympiad season!
This year, the STEM TRAIL Center's mission is to expand the reach of this program by recruiting new coaches and engaging more secondary schools (Grades 6-12) across Nebraska. To support this goal, the first 10 schools that haven’t participated in the past two years are eligible to register teams with free membership—a great way to get started.
Please help spread the word by sharing this opportunity with educators, schools, coaches, and students who may be interested. Together, we can inspire and empower the next generation of STEM leaders.
For more information, visit the NESO website or contact NESO Director Deanna Johansen (deannajohansen@unomaha.edu) at the UNO STEM TRAIL Center.
