UNO Physics summer offerings include modeling workshops

The University of Nebraska at Omaha Department of Physics is partnering with the American Modeling Teachers Association (AMTA) to offer summer modeling workshops:

Participants may also choose to earn graduate credit though these options:

University of the Pacific (via AMTA)
  • Earn one to two graduate credits
  • Courses carry an EDUP prefix (Note: these may not count towards dual enrollment qualifications at all institutions)
University of Nebraska at Omaha
  • Earn three graduate credits per workshop
  • Courses carry PHYS prefix and will count for dual enrollment qualification across area colleges and universities.
  • Course options:
    • PHYS 8310 - Introduction to Modeling for Physical Science
    • PHYS 8710 - Modeling Instruction in Electricity & Magnetism
These UNO graduate credits can be taken individually or applied toward an 18-credit Graduate Certificate in Physical Science Education.
