
Introduction to Modeling
- June 22-26 (one week)
- Introduces participants to the pedagogy of modeling in physics, chemistry, biology and the earth sciences through the lens of energy
- Ideal for middle and high school science teachers
Modeling Electricity and Magnetism
- July 13-24 (two weeks)
- Applies modeling pedagogy to electricity and magnetism topics
- Ideal for high school physics, AP physics, and dual enrollment physics teachers.
Optional graduate credit starting Summer 2026
Three graduate credits can be earned for each workshop through the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Extra coursework will be required for graduate credit.
These credits can be applied to teach Dual Enrollment Physics at UNO. Credits can also be applied towards an 18-credit Graduate Certificate in Physical Science Education.
