Summer has always been a time when highly motivated teachers continue their graduate education so that they return to their school in the fall eager to transfer knowledge gained into their own teaching. NMSSI courses in mathematics, science and pedagogy emphasize mathematical and scientific knowledge for teaching delivered in a teacher-friendly format.

For all on-site, in-person NMSSI courses, current Nebraska teachers automatically qualify for a tuition reduction equal to 20 percent of in-state, graduate tuition. Additionally, Nebraska K-12 teachers can apply for supplemental NMSSI Fellowships to further defray tuition costs for NMSSI courses. Read more about the costs at http://scimath.unl.edu/nmssi/2019/costs/. The NMSSI Fellowship Application is now open at http://go.unl.edu/scimathapply. Some fellowships are now also available for TEAC courses.
