In partnership with the Food Processing Center, the Nebraska MEP is offering the FSPCA Preventive Controls for Animal Food Course, May 19-20 at the Food Innovation Center on the University of Nebraska Innovation Campus. This course is an important resource for animal food manufacturers, processors and growers to meet the requirements of being a "preventive controls qualified individual" as well as gain understanding of the Food Safety Modernization Act regulations.
Learning objectives include the preparation of a food safety plan, validation of preventive controls, records review and reanalysis of the food safety plan. This workshop will be conducted by qualified FSPCA Lead Instructors from the University of Nebraska Food Processing Center.
