Supply Chain Risk and Resilience Review

Another area that the Nebraska MEP can help to improve your supply chain is a review of the risk that is imbedded within your supply chain and to help you build resiliency strategies into your supply chain.

Supply Chain Risk – The likelihood and consequence of events, at any point in the end to end supply chain, that disrupt the normal flow of supplies and / or the result of negative impacts to downstream channel product flow and supporting infrastructure and services.

The Nebraska MEP has developed a methodology to review your supplier base with a mapping process to determine the degree of risk that is currently embedded in your supply chain. This mapping process will provide a quantitative assessment of that risk. The goal is to establish a high degree of supply chain resilience.

Supply Chain Resilience - The capability of a supply chain network and individual suppliers to recover quickly and cost-effectively from an event and with minimal or no impact to the normal flow of supplies.
