These upcoming workshops are joint ventures between the Nebraska MEP and the Food Processing Center.

September 17, 2019 - Better Process Control School
The course equips professionals with a scientific understanding of thermal processes and strategies of pathogen control, first and foremost clostridium botulinum. By law, each processor of these types of foods must operate with a trained supervisor on hand at all times.

October 21, 2019 FSPCA Preventive Controls for Human Food
The purpose of this workshop is to provide FDA approved training for food companies. The Food Processing Center offers a 2.5-day workshop to assist companies in understanding and complying with the Preventive Controls for Human Food regulations. Registration Deadline: October 1, 2019
