INSPIRING RADICAL CREATIVITY: AN EVENING with GABBY RIVERA,
hosted by UPC Nebraska and the LGBTQA+ Center
7:30 p.m. @ Nebraska Union Swanson Auditorium
Gabby Rivera is a queer Latinx writer living in Oakland, CA. She is currently writing AMERICA, America Chavez’s solo series, for Marvel. America is Marvel’s first Latina lesbian superhero. Gabby will give a lecture as well as provide a writer's workshop, speaking on her experiences as QTPOC writer, an LGBTQ youth advocate, and the importance of centering joy in our narratives as Latinx people and people of color.
Free for UNL students with a valid N-Card and $5 for faculty, staff, and the public.
