The Council For Resilience Education is Recruiting Members!

Calling all science communicators!

The Council for Resilience Education (CRE) is a new RSO of students in ecology, engineering, computer science, and beyond dedicated to creating diverse multimedia educational materials for teaching the concepts of Ecological Resilience.

Ecological Resilience is simply a way of conceptualizing disturbance and change in dynamic systems (like cities or ecosystems). We seek to make Ecological Resilience and its related concepts as accessible and digestible as possible for all audiences through publishing online modules, case studies, a podcast, and more.

No experience needed, just some scientific curiosity! We are actively recruiting students in journalism, mass communications, graphic design, and other media-related fields. Learn about an exciting field while having your work published online for the benefit of your fellow students!

We are hosting information sessions on November 20th, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Nebraska Union Food Court Room D on City Campus and on December 3rd, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm in Hardin Hall 209 on East Campus. Pizza provided.
