QUINN BRETT: THOUGHTS ON THE PARADOX , hosted by Outdoor Adventures
7 p.m. @ Nebraska Union, Swanson Auditorium

Before her spinal cord injury, Quinn’s climbing exploits were proud physical accomplishments. From Yosemite to Patagonia, Quinn found joy rock climbing on tall walls and purpose in the connections she made with others along the way. She and partners held speed records for El Cap, climbed 7 Yosemite big walls in 7 days, and made first ascents in Patagonia. After a 100’ fall during a speed attempt on the famed “Nose” of El Cap, Quinn finds a new context to what gives her
joy and purpose.

Hear of her road to recovery and the lessons learned about the paradox of paralysis and ability.
