The Chancellor’s Commission on the Status of Women (CCSW) is currently recruiting undergraduate students to serve on the commission. CCSW’s mission is to enhance the status of all women and people of all genders at UNL, by advising the Chancellor on issues pertaining to gender equity and on specific concerns of women faculty, staff and students at the university.

The full commission meets monthly and the council of students meets biweekly based on availability to focus on issues related to students.

To apply, please submit the following items to JD McCown, advisor of the council of students, by email at jd.mccown@unl.edu.

- Letter of interest stating the reasons you are interested in serving on the council and some of the key issues you wish to address in this role.
- Student member application, which is available at https://www.unl.edu/ccsw/membership.shtml
- Letter of recommendation from a UNL affiliate
- Resume

The deadline to submit for undergraduate students is March 2.
