What: A listening session event hosted by OASIS, ASUN and BSU to create a safe space to engage in meaningful conversations about racial discrimination, and how to dismantle structures that perpetuate racial biases on campus and beyond. This event should be student based as we are trying to create an environment where students who haven’t necessarily felt the need to participate in these conversations should be the ones there.
Why: It’s important for these conversations to be happening on campus, and with the high standing of OASIS’s Dish It Ups, we thought it would be beneficial to utilize this platform for an event.
