Multicultural and Black Greek 101 Events
September 21 and 23 | 6–7:45 p.m. | Zoom
Multicultural Greek 101 is a seminar to learn more about the Multicultural Greek Council (MGC). MGC serves as the governing body for eight culturally Greek-lettered sororities and fraternities. Black Greek 101 is a seminar to learn more about the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) or commonly referred to as Divine Nine (D9) organization. In this seminar, you will learn about all nine organizations and the current chapters that are on the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s yard. In order to obtain membership into any of these organizations you must attend a 101 session. The session is good for one calendar year.

Special Edition Dish It Up: The Reminders
September 22 | 12–1:30 p.m. | Zoom
An exciting conversation and demonstration with Big Samir and Aja Black from The Reminders. The Reminders, who have opened for the likes of Lauryn Hill, Mos Def and Snoop Dogg, are a Denver-based hip-hop duo inspired by world music and reggae. Samir and Aja will discuss their journey as musicians, answer questions from the attendees and share musical selections as a preview of their October 1 LIVE concert at the Lied Center.

Love, Victor: A Discussion on Identity
September 22 | 6–7 p.m. | Zoom
Join OASIS and the LGBTQA+ Center as they watch clips from the Hulu series Love, Victor and discuss the intersectionality between LGBTQA+ and Latinx identities.

Votes for Women: Nebraska’s Suffrage Story
September 24 | 3–4 p.m. | Nebraska History Museum
Join the CARE Advocates and Women’s Center as they explore an exhibit outlining the struggle for women’s suffrage in Nebraska. This year marks the 100-year anniversary of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution giving women the right to vote. Members of the Huskers Vote Coalition will be available to help students check their registration status and register to vote. Meet in the lobby of the Nebraska History Museum by 3 p.m. or if you’d like to walk over with a group, meet at 2:30 p.m. in the Nebraska Union Crib.

Instant Pot 101
September 24 | 5:30–7 p.m. | Recreation & Wellness Center Wellness Kitchen
Learn how to master your Instant Pot at Campus Recreation during the September CookWell class. Participants will be making African Peanut Stew or White Chicken Chili with a fresh side salad. Instant Pots will be provided. All food will be taken to-go which can be enjoyed right away or as leftovers during the week.

Thursday Trivia Night: Husker Sports edition
September 24 | 7 p.m. | Zoom
Join the Trivia League for their bi-weekly virtual trivia night with Nebraska Unions and UNL Intramural Sports. To sign up for trivia via IM Leagues, click here to create an account. Select "Intramural Sports" and find "Trivia League". Then, gather a few friends and join as a team to compete to win some prizes.

Laser Night
September 25 | 8–11 p.m. | Cook Pavilion
An awesome and unique event for friends to play together. Groups of five will run, jump, roll and out-maneuver each other to tag competitors with their laser beams while avoiding being zapped themselves. Laser night is free for UNL students with your event pass.

Lake Meet Ups w/ Outdoor Adventures
September 27 | 4–8 p.m. | Outdoor Adventure Center
Join the crew for a great day of canoeing, paddle-boarding, swimming and slack-lining! With many lakes on the outskirts of Lincoln, you will head to an ideal destination for a quick getaway. The OAC will provide all the gear and instruction for you to get out on the water. Get off campus for a day and learn basic paddling skills, relax on the sandy beach and connect with other adventurous people. Due to COVID, the OAC is unable to offer transport to and from the lake. All participants will be responsible for their own transportation and park access.
