Write down these registration dates so you don't miss out on next semester's classes.

It may feel like the semester is flying by, but it's not over yet. There are still a few important deadlines to remember so you stay on track with your academics. Here's what to write down in your planner.

SSD Registration | begins October 19, 2020
If you are registered with the Services for Students with Disabilities office, and have early registration as part of your accommodation plan, you may begin registering for your Spring 2021 classes on Monday, October 19.

Priority Registration | October 26 to November 10, 2020
The Priority Registration window starts on Monday, October 26. Before priority registration, you may access the Enrollment section of MyRED to place classes in your shopping cart, but the enrollment process cannot be completed until the designated appointment time. You can get your appointment time on MyRED about two weeks before the start of registration.

Open Registration | November 11, 2020 to January 10, 2021
During open registration, you do not need an appointment to register for your Spring 2021 classes– it's on a first-come, first-serve basis. Any student who is eligible to enroll may access MyRED.

Registration for Three-week Sessions
You can still register for the upcoming three-week terms. Registration began on August 31 so some classes may be full. However, you are still encouraged to take advantage of this extra opportunity– register for these classes in MyRED, just like for any other term. Search for "three week" in the session search field.

One thing to keep in mind is that registration appointments are assigned based on total credits and class standing. Seniors with more credits will receive earlier appointments than first-year students. It's also a good idea to meet with your advisor before your registration date to make sure you're staying on track to complete your degree. Finally, you should check your MyRED account before registration begins– if you have any holds on your student account, you will not be able to register for classes until the hold is released.
