Valentine's Day Succulent Sale is Feb. 12 at two campus locations

The UNL Horticulture Club succulent plant sale is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 12, 2021 in both the Willa Cather Dining Complex and Nebraska East Union. Plants are $5 each.

Succulents' popularity has skyrocketed in the last four years. This houseplant is easy to maintain, can survive anywhere all-year-round, has a high decorative value and is affordable.

Proceeds from the sale benefit the activities and professional development of Horticulture Club members - a group of plant enthusiasts. In addition to preparing for and hosting two big plant sales each year, the club plans greenhouses and landscapes; share employment experiences; and explore opportunities to network.
